How You Opt In

A family administrator creates a household account at chored.ai and adds each family member's mobile number. Before the member can receive messages, they receive a one-time confirmation SMS asking them to reply YES to opt in. No messages are sent until consent is confirmed.

By replying YES, you agree to receive automated SMS messages from Family Operations including chore reminders, schedule updates, weekly scoreboard summaries, and household coordination messages. Message frequency varies (typically 1–5 messages per day). Message and data rates may apply.

What Messages We Send

• Daily chore reminders and completion confirmations
• Weekly chore schedule and scoreboard
• Teen car booking confirmations and conflicts
• Allowance / reward notifications (parent-approved)
• Replies to messages you send to our number

Opt Out & Help

Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also ask your family administrator to remove your number from the account.
